A world without trees is unimaginable, but thankfully preventable.
During the struggle for independence, Kenya’s forests gave the freedom fighters shelter, food and a home. Today they shelter all of us – holding rain in our water towers, cooling our towns and protecting farms from erosion.
Through the Plant a Tree campaign we raise seedlings in our tree nurseries, plant them with communities, schools and partners, and care for them until they are established. US$25 covers one indigenous tree from seedling to sapling.
