The greener the world, the better and the more successful it is for us all regardless of race, ethnic background or country of origin. Dry and scorched world is an epitome of penury and misery, where dreaded ghosts of death and calamities remains the order of the day. Here in Kenya, We are a people seriously embraced by the spirit of going green and that’s why one of our major policy is to promote and advocate for a much more conducive and greener environment as it is well camouflage of beautiful and healthy trees.
In the recent past, Dedan Kimathi Foundation (DKF) has not taken this initiative lightly as we have made tree-planting one of our key programmes. We are always committed to increasing the capacity of the communities around us. Over the years we have planted hundreds of thousands of trees nationwide and we look forward to more touchable achievements in-line with our main objectives.
We believe in making our world a better place than we found it. We therefore encourage our youth and the whole population worldwide of the need to make our world greener and productive. Professor Wangari Maathai made our country proud by being an environmentalist icon. Lets all emulate her. Our goal is to plant 100 million trees to help restore our global forests. Its a big number but we know we can do it with your help.
