On a bright morning, we set out on a mission to Thome, Rumuruti, a place that is fast becoming a beacon of hope for our heroes and their families. Here, through the Dedan Kimathi Foundation’s resettlement program, freedom fighters and their descendants are finally acquiring land to call their own.

Once a dry, barren landscape, Thome is now undergoing a transformation. Through our dedicated greening initiative, the land is turning fertile, and its new residents are shaping it into a productive home. The promise of freedom, once distant, is now within reach.
